First there was the Nes - The Nintendo Entertainment System, a great piece of gaming equipment that revolutionized entertainment in the home. From the Nes on video gaming has progressed faster than anyone ever imagined. Graphics have become richer; storylines more involving and the game play more detailed and interactive than anyone thought possible.
Now there's a new chapter of video games evolution - Downloading Video Games. With the release of the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii manufactures (Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo) have included much greater online options. The speed and accessibility of the internet has made a great number features possible. Online gaming, Media Downloads and access to the World Wide Web are the main features of these newest consoles but what about downloading full games for your console?
For a while now people have been downloading console and PC Games from the internet. The people to do this were PC gamers. Downloading torrents from file sharing sites is easy, free and fast but it's always been illegal. So how can you download all the latest games from your PC to play on your consoles?
Whether it is for your Playstation 2, Xbox 360, PSP or Wii there are sites that enable you (after paying a small one time fee) to access there massive databases full of games ready for you to download. Once downloaded the games can be burned on to CD or DVD and instantly played on your consoles.
The services are usually easy to use and extremely cheap to join meaning you'll never have to walk to the games shop again!

Game Cheats: Are They "Good" to Use?
Game cheats. We've all used them. With computer and console games becoming faster and more advanced, the need for game cheats are becoming more and more important to complete these games. Often we don't have enough time between work and social functions to dedicate enough time to finish an entire game, so game cheats are the way to go.
Whether it be Sony Playstation, Nintendo GameCube, Microsoft XBox, XBox 360, or computer games, game programmers often allow the player to either enter codes to unlock special weapons, secret levels, grant invulnerability or other ways to boost a characters' growth, or game cheats can be a way of interacting with the game environment to help overcome what seem to be insurmountable situations.
Some gamers consider it bad form to use game cheats. In fact, there are purist gamers who feel that the total experience of gaming is lost once you use cheat codes or game cheats.
"You can't be a Zulu Game Wizard using game cheats. Game cheats are for people who are too weak and give up too easily in the difficult parts of the games," says longtime gamer Jasper Hom.
Others disagree and argue that they can't appropriate enough time to gaming to make it past the hard parts of the games. Another problem gamers who use game cheats face is that by the time they are able to dedicate enough time to the game, a new game that they would rather play is already out on store shelves.
Whether you use game cheats or not, they are undoubtably a great way for amateur gamers to more enjoy and possibly finish some of today's difficult and challenging games. The game cheats dilemma will always be an ongoing battle between those in the gaming community.

Xbox Remains A High Demand Gaming Machine by Bruno Auger
The Xbox is one of the most familiar console video gaming devices on the market. Bill Gates is rumored to have delayed its release for several years to include every bell and whistle of available technology to make it the ultimate gaming machine and one that everyone would want. Computers and the internet have made online gaming more attractive than console games to many game fans, so something was needed to boost the console concept. It was finally marketed late in 2001.
The console contains a basic computer chip and has multiple options for AV connections. It is compatible with standard AV cable, the RF connecter, TOSLINK audio and S-Video, SCART, and High Definition devices. The Xbox connect to Ethernet cable to a modem or router or as a wireless link. It can interface with a PC which greatly expands gaming potential and also has music capability as a player, a mixer or for karaoke. Accessories make it usable as a DVD player as well.
The controllers are an amazing collection of options and functions for Xbox. Far from the simple joystick and couple of buttons of the early console games, this controller looks more like the dashboard of a small plane. It comes in alternate models with two analog control sticks, a directional touch pad, six action buttons, Back and Start buttons, and slots for accessories. There's even a memory card slot that allows games to be stored for later play.
Some games disable the memory card function to prevent cheating, but of course some Xbox addicts find hacks to get around some of the protections. One of the huge draws is the availability of an online multiplayer gaming service that lets a gamer play with anyone else who owns this console anywhere in the world. Instead of competing with games online, they just joined in.
There has been controversy over pricing for this game, with Europe complain that they were being overcharged as much as 100% over the US prices, and new version releases also have had inflated prices. Other complaints have centered on the content and violence of individual game releases. This also has been the same for other brands of similar game consoles.
Purchasing an Xbox provides an incredible range of entertainment possibilities for children and adults. Prices have become much lower, and games themselves are often traded or sold used at a great discount. It remains a much desired holiday or birthday gift and many homes have more than one.
